“Compliant” was notified in the flame retardant product toxicity screening

SOUFA (Sodium Polyborate) was notified as “Compliant” by Flame Retardant Product Toxicity Examination at Japan Fire Protection Association.

This has made it possible to use fusuma paper and shoji paper as chemicals when producing flameproof products.
Phosphoric acid-based flame retardants are mainly used to make fusuma and shoji paper flame retardant, but it is now possible to use SOUFA as a new flame retardant.
